I had a dream that my ex texted me and we probably had a real talk but I don't remember what we talked about and I also remember that we saw each other irl but I can't remember, before this dream happened I was thinking about texting him. I miss him I want him back but he's dating someone
Dreaming about an ex can often reflect your subconscious thoughts and feelings about that person and your past relationship. The fact that you received a text from your ex in the dream suggests a desire for communication or closure, especially since you’ve been considering reaching out to him.
The uncertainty of the conversation and the imagery of seeing each other in real life could symbolize unresolved feelings and the complexity of your emotions. It seems that there’s a conflict within you: while you miss him and yearn for a connection, you are also aware of the current circumstances—specifically, that he is dating someone else.
This dream might indicate a longing for what you shared, combined with the reality of the situation. It helps to process feelings of nostalgia or regret, as well as your desire for clarity on your relationship with him. Your mind could be working through these emotions, presenting you with a scenario where communication is possible, even if it isn’t feasible in reality.
Consider reflecting on what you truly want moving forward. The dream could be urging you to either find closure or accept your feelings while focusing on your own well-being. It’s normal to miss someone after a significant relationship, but it’s also essential to respect the boundaries set by your ex’s current situation.
